FEBRUARY 28

It's ON! We have keys for an empty shop space in Leicester! Preperation has begun in setting up the space for two exhibitions!

The first exhibition 'Bang' is sheduled to be open by the 13th of March.

JANUARY 27

Hello, this is our first update of 2010, so Happy new year!

The biggest news is that we may have a space (hurrah!), not much more that we can tell you at the moment, but keep checking for updates!

Greg and Nick have completed their first issue of 'Zeene', and are currently in the process of their second issue, which is on the subject of baseball, find out more here.

There is a lot happening at the moment, we will keep you posted!

 

NOVEMBER 10

Ahoy! You want Vanilla news? Here is some Vanilla news.

First off, we have the second Orange Sherbet coming up at the Orange Tree, Loughborough, to celebrate the change around of our work. We will have illustration doors, film screenings, an open mic section, performance pieces and much more! Tickets avaliable from the Orange Tree, £3.00. COME!

Secondly, a few of a new members have an exhibition at the Surface Gallery in Nottingham coming up next week. Should be well worth a look! £FREE. COME!

OCTOBER 12

Hello, hello, hope everyone is ok. The big news this month is based around 'Ay Up Me Duck' - our rubber duck based photography competition we ran during the summer. Well, the exhibition starts THIS WEEK! Come down to the Loughborough town hall and enjoy! More info..

Also, Chris Cawkwell has new work up, go and take a look!

Finally, we need your help! Loughborough's Paul Bryan has reached the final two for Panasonic's next generation talent competition, and now the outcome rests on a public vote! To view Pauls entry, click here, and VOTE! Lets make it two years in a row for Loughborough reps!

SEPTEMBER 15

YASSOU! I have a treat for you today! Tim Davey - an excellent local film-maker has joined up with us. You may have seen a few of his videos before at Orange Sherbet or our exhibition last year, but if not, go watch his showreel now!

We also have new paintings by Paul Morisson and Sam Etchell. Go look.

We want to thank everyone who entered 'Ay Up Me Duck' - it was great fun looking through all of the submissions. We were truly astounded at the effort and lengths that many of the entrants went to - THANK YOU - Photos and winners to be put up soon.

NEW PEOPLE! As of today we have a fresh batch of new artists. We welcome Colette Lilley, Dale Bowers, Dan Stafford, James Cropper, Jenny Gordon, Megan Tipping, Sarah Home, and Sarah May Strand!

These guys have provided us with some fantastic new work, so go take a look!

JULY 25

EXCITING! Vanilla Galleries artist Robin Matthews was chosen to go on the fourth plinth - the current project from Anthony Gormley, One and Other. See long exposure photographs from 3am in the morning! Or see the video!
