'The Construct is a series of conceptual work based on the ensemble of Junk objects to transform its prior function as an object to a post-function as art, by the artist. The deterioration of an object is like an expiriory date, it will inevitably expire. Therefore the process of assembling the objects to fulfil a new function as art could be seen as a life after death for the object'.

'This series of work has taught me that parameters of art far outstretch the parameters of society which allow such works like the Construct to exist, then again the Construct is a product of society'.

'To conclude the Construct is a post-functional, partially anti-formal and anti-aesthetic anomaly, and can conjure up an unthinkable amount of stimulated responses from the viewer’s perception'.
