This body of work highlights the issues surrounding animal captivity and exploitation. Confined within an enclosure, denied the freedom they naturally deserve and forced to live within overcrowded environments, many species are being exploited in various ways for financial gain and entertainment.
By manipulating 3D forms and found materials, an installation is created to highlight the conditions under which many species are forced to live under. The 3D figures are ‘scarred’ with facts and statements related to the issues I have explored.
